CEC AT Huddle: With Nicole Martinelli
CEC AT Huddle: With Nicole Martinelli
Sunday, January 18, 2026 (8:00 PM - 9:00 PM) (EST)
Description
This Huddle offers a space to explore how gentle movement sequences and tactile awareness can invite adaptability and whole-body integration. Drawing from my work with dancers in a university setting as well as clients in my private practice, I’ll share meaningful tools to support one’s teaching and personal use. Participants are invited to experiment, reflect, and share discoveries as we explore new pathways for awareness and connection.
Please bring a theraband or comparable object (such as leggings or a towel) and designate a small space to move.
Nicole Martinell is a dance and somatic movement educator, choreographer, Certified Movement Analyst, and AmSAT-certified teacher of the Alexander Technique. She is the founder of Resiliency through Movement, a somatic movement practice, and Deep Vision Dance Company, a performing arts organization. Martinell teaches in the Department of Dance at Towson University, inspiring students to embrace movement as a source of resilience, creativity, and self-discovery through modern technique, composition, pedagogy, and somatics classes.
